"The Art of Calligraphy Without Boundaries (Ⅲ)" Creation Exhibition by Liang Yongfei

Liang Yongfei, director of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and a well-known artist, has his first solo exhibition after taking office in Taichung, "Book Art Without Boundaries (Ⅲ)-Liang Yongfei Calligraphy Creation Exhibition" dedicated to the Youhantang Chinese Character Culture Center of Fengjia University. The exhibition period is from April 21st to 6th. On the 5th.

The opening ceremony will be held on the afternoon of April 24. The exhibition will display six series of "Great Fortune", "Words into Forests", "Free Heart Creation", "Seal Script Combination", "Line Creativity" and "California Innovation" 43 Exquisite works, and cultural and creative works such as silk scarves, thermos flasks, porcelain plates, bone china plates and mugs are also exhibited.

Curator Liang told us that his creation has changed from the method of the book to the inability of the book, and finally reached the boundlessness of the book.

The "Calligraphy Without Boundaries (Ⅲ)" exhibited at Feng Chia University this time is his 15th solo exhibition of calligraphy creation. Previously, he was invited to exhibit and give lectures in various counties such as Taipei City and New Taipei City. I was invited to hold exhibitions or new album releases and seminars at National Taipei University of Technology and National Taiwan University of Arts, but it was the first time to exhibit in Taichung City. Feng Chia University is also deeply honored for this. Curator Liang stated that his creation has gone from "books have methods" to "books cannot", and then from "books cannot" to "books without boundaries." Of course, the basic skills of famous Linmo rubbings are necessary. It is not difficult to integrate from "being" to "nothing", but to create "being" from "nothing", the process is hard and full of joy. It requires selflessness and then produces rhythm. You have to wait patiently to master the rendering of the pen end between fast and slow and dry and wet. The accumulated experience in creation also allowed him to analyze that art can use "freehand", "realistic", and "abstract" interactively. Although his works are time-consuming to create, the uniqueness and derivation of the works will also It is greatly improved, not only integrating Eastern and Western artistic characteristics, but also integrating architectural design and interior design. He will continue to research, experiment, and apply to create greater new value of "Calligraphy Without Boundaries". Currently, there are nine calligraphy albums published.
