


Congratulations to BIBA Program student Angel Wu on receiving the MOE Study Abroad Scholarship (Shih Hai Fei Yang Award)!
👩🏻🎓 Eligibility for MOE “Study Abroad Program” (Huayang Scholarship) — 2025 Fall, University of South Australia, 3+2 Dual Degree Program
Eligibility Requirements:
1️⃣ Applicants must hold ROC (Taiwan) nationality, have household registration in Taiwan, and be enrolled at our university for at least one semester (excluding in-service programs).
2️⃣ Undergraduate students must rank within the top 30% of their class in overall GPA; graduate students must have an average grade of 80 or above.
3️⃣ Applicants must meet the academic performance and language proficiency requirements of the host institution, and the host institution must offer courses related to the applicant’s field of study (at least 4 credits of required/elective professional courses must be taken).
4️⃣ Study abroad must take place in international regions (excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau). The duration must be at least one semester (or quarter) and no longer than one academic year (365 days).
5️⃣ Students must maintain enrollment status at our university during both the application period and their study abroad. Leave of absence is not permitted.
6️⃣ Applicants must not have previously received or be simultaneously receiving other government-funded overseas subsidies (e.g., Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association Short-Term Scholarship). Each applicant may only receive support from the Huayang series of scholarships once per academic level.
💰 Scholarship Amount:

Minimum subsidy: NTD 60,000 (coverage includes round-trip economy airfare, tuition fees at the host university, and living expenses).

The actual award amount will be determined by the university’s internal review committee.

The subsidy period is limited to one semester (quarter) or one academic year.

Applications are handled in accordance with the university’s “Study Abroad Program” (Huayang & Xizhu) regulations.
