2025 Chung-Ang University Summer Short-Term Exchange BIBA Student Sharing

Michael Chao, a junior in the BIBA program, joined Chung-Ang University’s ISP program in Korea this summer, diving into a curriculum that was both rich and diverse.

Not only had the chance to learn Korean, but also to hear practical insights from renowned industry professionals. Beyond the classroom, the program offered vibrant cultural activities: from Namsan Tower (Seoul Tower), Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Everland, to professional baseball games and the famous “Nanta” show — every moment made the experience even more fulfilling.But Michael’s journey didn’t stop with the school-organized events. Fueled by a passion for Korea, he also set out on his own adventures — strolling through Seongsu and Itaewon, visiting other university campuses, joining gatherings with like-minded people, and meeting friends from all over the world. Through these encounters, he gained a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.

Although he began with both excitement and concerns about language barriers, Michael successfully completed this short yet truly meaningful exchange experience.
